APE Summer Residency
Master of Health Administration students participate in an Applied Practice Experience Summer Residency, a 200-hour internship-style experience in a health administration setting that offers students an intensive “on the job” experience. The Summer Residency takes place in the Summer between the first and second year of the program, given students successfully complete their first year of coursework. Students are coached through the application process and are able to complete their Summer Residency in various settings of their choosing. Upon completion of their Summer Residency, students will increase their professional skills, build a stronger résumé and increase their professional network. This experience will also help them learn more about the career options available to them in the health administration field
