Staff Spotlight: Stefanie Cole
The College of Applied Health Sciences has an array of faculty that are renowned in their areas of research and instruction. But AHS would not be able to operate as efficiently without its staff, who are the backbone of this great college. Periodically, we will shine the light on one of these staffers so their colleagues can get to know them better. This time, it's Stefanie Cole, an administrative aide in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science.
Q: What drew you to the University of Illinois?
A: I came to the University from Carle, and before that, the Air Force. I grew up in a University town (Moscow, Idaho), and the opportunity to expand/enhance my employment skills and increase my knowledge was a huge draw.
Q: How long have you been in AHS?
A: Eight and a half years.
Q: What’s your favorite part of your job?
A: I love my faculty! Getting to interact with them on a daily basis is what keeps me coming to work!
Q: What’s your favorite spot on campus?
A: The benches in front of the Speech and Hearing Science Building are a great place to get some sun and people-watch! 😊

A: Fighting Illini Basketball season!

A: "The Princess Bride."
