Dodson, Team USA repeat as gold medal winners in sled hockey in Beijing

Illinois alum and DRES athlete Travis Dodson and Team USA's Paralympic Sled Hockey Team blanked Canada 5-0 on Sunday in Beijing to win gold in the 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.
Dodson has won a pair of golds with the sled hockey team. He finished the tournament with an assist in three games played. It was the sled hockey team's fourth straight Paralympic gold.
Declan Farmer had two goals and an assist and Jen Lee had 16 saves.
“I’m just so incredibly proud of this team,” said David Hoff, head coach of the 2022 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. “We went out there, played our game and accomplished what we wanted to accomplish and there’s no better feeling than that. I’m just so proud of this team and what we’ve been able to accomplish together.”
